The Growth

the software that GROWS with you
Vouch is built around the philosophy of GROWTH. An organization is ever subject to changes as it grows and/or rules to run it are rewritten. Under dynamic scenario it becomes all the necessity to provide a mechanism to cope up enforced changes. Vouch incorporates this facility under three layers:
Almost all the fields in a table can be redefined to contain those facts which govern at that moment. A complete range of API is provided in Vouch to define rules for those fields.
With each table, user can attach as many fields as necessary and as and when these are required. Then attached fields can be opened at any place on the data entry screen. All the attributes can be attached to these fields which can be attached to normal Vouch provided fields. And all these fields can be retrieved as and where necessary. Unlike Vouch fields, user defined fields can be edited as per field lengths and decimal places, rendering it more useful.
Vouch has provided a Module Generator wherein user can define a table with integrity rules, design a Screen for the data entry and can run that module in a similar fashion as Vouch module is run. This module can be correlated with every other module of Vouch or with user’s own defined modules. Also user can attach any designed module with <Ref> fields of any module, then, when while data entry mode cursor reached to the field where designed module is attached, screen to get values for the designed structure will open up with all the rules of designed module intact. Thus attached structures will be saved as and when parent module’s form is saved. All the operations, i.e., Add/Edit/Delete will also apply to the attached module. The basic difference in F6.Selection Server and Attaching a structure is that in the first case that works as an extension of fields wherein in the second case an independent foreign key is retained.

Hence, CAC calls it Vouch Developer.

Vouch has surpassed the notion of being an Application Package. It is now a Developer’s Package. One can develop his own modules integrated with Vouch modules, design documents and reports, integrate menu system and export the project. Then that project will run as any application of Vouch runs. Of course, he has to obtain a fresh license for each site separately.

For tangible and meaningful control of Vouch components for various users, Vouch allows to rebuild Menu System wherein user can place various components in a manner useful to a group of users. When designing a Menu, user is presented with all the Menu Options, Reports, Utilities, User Defined Modules for selection. A multi-level menu may be designed. As many menus can be designed as are required. This increases the acceptability.
