Please follow the following instructions carefully:

When asked about the destination drive and directory you can change only drive letter leaving directory name unchanged. Installation wizard will ask you about the Program Folder as:

C:\Creative.Acp 

and will allow you to change. You simply can change the drive letter, e.g., C: as D: or at whatever drive you wish to install Vouch, say, if it is F: then the above option will be read as,

F:\Creative.Acp

'Creative.Acp' directory must reside in the root of installation drive. It is very important, take care not to change the installation folder other than the displayed by installation wizard.

Setup will create the following directory tree on the installation drive F: (assumed as above):

F:
   \Creative.acp
   \Accmix
   \Defaults
   \Icons
   \Utility
   \Vouch
   \Help
   \VVouch
   \Dat
      \Demo
      \Orgnztn

Next, file handles need to be increased for Vouch to run properly which can be accomplished by amending the followin files depending upon the operating system in use, add following lines :

Windows 95,98 . C:\Config.sys
Files=127
Buffers=45

Windows ME . C:\Windows\System.ini : [enh386] Section
PerVmFiles=127

Windows 2000 . C:\Windows\System32\config.nt
Files=127
Buffers=45

The above process need be accomplished before running the application.

After the above process is complete, simply copy Vouch.dat, a small file shipped separately to the user, which contain specific information about the Organization, Vouch Serial, Password and Runtime Configurations, in and as:

F:\Creative.acp\Dat\Orgnztn\Vouch.dat

Withouch Vouch.dat application will not run.

After installation is complete, simply click on the 'Vouch 6.0' icon in the Start Menu/Programs/Vouch. A menu will appear from where you will be able to create a 'company'. Simply follow the prompts which are self explanatory. Only one thing you bear in mind that company or organization's name must be the same as supplied by CAC with Vouch.dat. It is case sensitive, note.

After filling the organization's detail, you will be carried to <Organizations> menu and will be allowed to select the created organization through a browser. 

Next, you will be asked to supply Vouch Serial provided to you with your 'key' diskette wherein Vouch.dat is contained. If you supply the correct Serial, Vouch will open a dialog to define passwords for Lower, Middle and Top Management along with Controller. This Controller password is all the important as all subsequent password intensive operations are dependant on it. Please note that it must be a different password than Vouch Serial to avoid clashes to the best of proper usage.

Next, a group 'SUPER' and a user 'SUPER' is automatically created by Vouch and password 'super' is automatically created. After confirming the userid and password, installation process is over. Vouch is now ready to be enjoyed. At next step, you merely supply 'SUPER' as user identity and 'super' as password just created.

If you are installing Trial Version, the password is 'VOUCH' and Vouch.dat is located in \creative.acp\dat\demo folder, otherwise password and Vouch.dat will be supplied separately.
